This is a role for a disruptor who thrives on solving complex hardware-software integration challenges using cutting-edge tools like Ansible, Docker, and RHEL.The Role Manage and maintain Linux-based hardware stacks in a dedicated on-premises System Integration Lab (SIL) supporting autonomous maritime vessels. Lead system configuration, security hardening, and performance tuning for RHEL 8/9/10 environments in compliance with DoD policies. Architect and maintain network services including firewalls, DNS, VLANs, and routing to ensure seamless connectivity between sensors and software. Automate routine tasks and system deployments using scripting languages like Bash and Python and configuration management tools like Ansible. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support software updates, hardware upgrades, and enterprise-grade backup and disaster recovery solutions.What You'll Need An active US Secret security clearance (Required). 4+ years of hands-on System Administration experience (or a Masters with 2+ years) with a strong focus on Linux server environments. Deep proficiency in virtualization and containerization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, and KVM. Proven experience with configuration management (Ansible), scripting (Python/Bash), and managing Dell Server hardware.
