Join Our Team as an OB/GYN Faculty MemberWe are looking for a dedicated and experienced OB/GYN Faculty Member to become part of our prestigious residency program. This position offers a remarkable chance to integrate clinical practice with resident education, influencing the future of obstetrics and gynecology alongside a team of 16 residents and over 25 faculty members.Key Responsibilities:Clinical Practice (0.7 FTE):Deliver comprehensive care in obstetrics and gynecology, encompassing prenatal, delivery, postpartum care, and gynecological surgeries.Engage in labor and delivery coverage, including on-call duties.Conduct outpatient consultations and follow-up appointments.Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient care.Keep accurate and current patient records.Educational Duties (0.3 FTE):Act as a preceptor for residents, providing hands-on training and mentorship in both clinical and surgical environments.Contribute to the development and execution of the residency curriculum in alignment with ACGME standards.Facilitate educational activities, including lectures, case discussions, and simulation training.Assess resident performance and offer constructive feedback.Participate in scholarly endeavors such as research, publications, and conference presentations.Qualifications:Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.Possession of a valid state medical license or eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania.Demonstrated strong clinical skills and experience in both obstetrics and gynecology.A compassionate, patient-centered approach to healthcare.At least two years of relevant experience.About Us:Established in 1860, our organization is recognized as one of the leading hospitals in the Philadelphia area, known for outstanding patient care.
