Check out our website at www.gebooth.com to learn more about our company values, industries, and products.We are seeking an experienced Safety Specialist to lead and administer company-wide safety programs, regulatory compliance, and training initiatives across multiple locations.Position Summary:The Safety Specialist is a system-focused role responsible for documentation, verification, and consistency across all GE Booth operations. This position supports the implementation, reinforcement, and monitoring of safe work practices in field, shop, and operational environments.This position works closely with Human Resources, Project Management, Operations, and field leadership to promote safe, compliant, and efficient project execution while upholding company values of safety, integrity, collaboration, and accountability.Key Responsibilities:Safety Program LeadershipSupport implementation and reinforcement of company safety policies, procedures, and expectations across field and shop operationsConduct occasional jobsite visits, safety inspections, field observations, and follow-up reviews to verify compliance and corrective actionsPromote a zero-recordable safety culture through coaching, communication, and active employee engagementAssist field personnel and supervisors with safety questions, documentation, and interpretation of safety expectationsEncourage employee participation in hazard recognition, near-miss reporting, and proactive safety practicesSafety Compliance:Support compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and customer-specific safety requirementsReview safety documentation including daily reports, JSAs, toolbox talks, inspections, and incident reportsTrack and maintain accurate, timely, and complete safety recordsPrepare documentation for audits, prequalification, and internal reviewsMaintain organized safety files, training records, and SDS documentationTrack open safety items and ensure timely closureReinforce the expectation that proper documentation is required for all safety activitiesTraining & Employee Support:Coordinate and assist with delivery of safety orientations, toolbox talks, and refresher trainingIdentify training needs based on incidents, trends, and operational changesPromote safe work practicesSupport onboarding by ensuring completion of safety documentation and training requirementsCommunicate safety expectations clearly while fostering accountability and understandingIncident Response & Corrective Action SupportMaintain reporting and documentation of incidents, near misses, first aid cases, and property damageAssist with or lead incident investigations as directed, including gathering documentation and evidenceIdentify contributing factors and support implementation of corrective actionsTrack trends and recurring issues and communicate findings to leadershipShare lessons learned across the organization to prevent recurrenceInspections, Audits & Continuous ImprovementConduct internal audits, jobsite evaluations, equipment inspections, and facility walkthroughsIdentify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvementSupport continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen safety processes and consistencyAssist in development and refinement of safety forms, tools, and proceduresEnsure audit findings are communicated and resolved effectivelyCommunication & Collaboration:Maintain strong working relationships with Safety, Operations, HR, Project Management, and field teamsPromote a “One Team" culture through collaboration and shared accountabilityAddress safety concerns and documentation gaps in a professional and constructive mannerCoordinate across departments to ensure consistent application of safety expectationsRepresent the company professionally while reinforcing core valuesOther Duties:Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support company safety and operational objectivesQualifications:3–5 years of safety experienceWorking knowledge of OSHA standards and safety practicesFamiliarity With Customer-specific Safety Requirements PreferredStrong organizational and documentation skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to identify hazards and communicate corrective actions clearly and professionallyProficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management systemsAbility to travel to project sites as neededValid driver’s license and ability to meet site access requirementsOSHA 30 certification preferred; additional certifications are a plusCore Competencies:Safety Leadership – Promotes a proactive, zero-recordable safety cultureSystem Discipline & Consistency – Strong documentation, follow-through, and problem-solvingCompliance – Supports adherence to policies, regulations, and customer expectationsField Engagement – Maintains an active and visible presence in operationsDocumentation & Follow-Through – Ensures accuracy and completion of safety recordsCommunication – Clear, professional interaction across all levelsCollaboration – Works effectively across teams to drive consistencyAccountability & Stewardship – Demonstrates ownership, reliability, and sound judgmentCultural Alignment – Supports and reflects GE Booth’s mission, vision, and valuesWhy Join Us:Full benefits package starting on day one, competitive compensation, PTO and matching 401(k).
