Caregiver
We are currently looking for candidates who possess a background in the following areas: Medical Assistants, CNA's, HHA's and Caregivers to work within an organization that serves individuals with developmental disabilities. Interested candidates will promote positive self-esteem of residents in a home atmosphere through consistent positive interactions, support, encouragement, and unconditional respect of individual rights.Responsibilities:Work with individuals with mental or developmental disabilitiesAssist clients with daily personal tasks, including bathing and dressingHelping plan client appointments and organize a scheduleOrganize transportation arrangements to appointmentsEncourage client engagement in social networks and communitiesAdhere to the organizations Code of EthicsEffectively communicate and support the organization valuesAccurately document service provision, daily notes, and other information as requiredQualifications:Must have no disciplinary action on file for past 12 monthsHealthcare experience required Physical DemandsAbility to lift at least 50 pounds or moreDaily standing, bending and liftMust be able to stand for at least eight hours at a timeCOMPANY OVERVIEWWe are an equal opportunity employer and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
