Equipment Rental Yard Laborer

Department: YardsLocation: Oakdale, PADescriptionAs a Yard Technician, you’ll help maintain the organization, functionality, and upkeep of our equipment yard. You’ll support delivery coordination, perform basic mechanical repairs, and ensure equipment and tools are ready and available for our field crews. This is a hands-on role that’s essential to the daily success of our operations.This role will be based out of our Oakdale, PA Yard locationKey ResponsibilitiesMaintain yard cleanliness and organization, including basic facility upkeepCoordinate scheduling and delivery of tools, equipment, and suppliesReceive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory and shipmentsPerform routine maintenance on generators, compressors, pumps, and moreArrange for external repairs and assist with pricing and inventory updatesTrack equipment usage, deliveries, and perform weekly/monthly inventory checksClean and prepare vehicles and fleet equipment for storage and deploymentEnsure proper storage and protection of all equipment and toolsProvide excellent customer service and clear communication to team membersRequirementsHigh school diploma or trade school equivalent2+ years of experience managing equipment, tools, and yard operationsValid PA driver’s license and clean driving recordForklift and loader experience preferredStrong communication, customer service, and organizational skillsBasic computer proficiency (inventory tracking, dispatch tools, spreadsheets)Mechanical aptitude and ability to assist with equipment repairsAbility to work independently and respond to urgent needs as requiredFull-Time | On-site | May include occasional weekend or emergency supportOutdoor and equipment-based work in varying conditionsBenefitsPaid HolidaysMedical / Dental / Vision coverageHealth savings account (HSA)Company Paid Life Insurance and Accidental & Dismemberment InsuranceVoluntary Life Insurance401k with a company matchPaid Time OffEmployee Assistance ProgramProfessional Development ProgramsEmployee Referral ProgramsVoluntary Benefits Offered#INDHP
