ASIC Design Engineer
Overview
In this role you will drive complex ASIC implementation projects, leading one or more design-closure disciplines within Broadcom’s multi-geo teams. You will apply synthesis, physical design, timing, and power techniques using multiple EDA tools to meet quality and performance targets. Your work will influence design readiness for next-generation technology nodes and contribute to Broadcom’s delivery of scalable, high-quality silicon. This is a hands-on role with cross-functional collaboration and a clear impact on product timelines and reliability.

Key requirementsBachelor (or higher) with 12+ years of related experience; or Masters with 10+ years; or PhD with 7+ yearsExpertise in synthesis, design-for-test, floorplanning, place-and-route, clock methodology, power planning and analysis, timing closure, signal integrity, and physical design checksStrong experience with multiple EDA tools/vendorsAbility to work with customers and cross-geo teamsCapable of leading projects with little supervisionleadershipcross-functional collaborationpeer-review facilitationsynthesisdesign-for-testfloorplanning
