Blaster Operator - off shift

Position Blaster Operator Work Hours Second shift 4:30 pm – 3 am for 10 hours, or 6:30 pm – 3 am when on 8 hours. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clean castings by removing fins, burnt-on sand, and excess metal per required specifications in preparation for customer shipment. Operate overhead cranes and/or jib cranes (pendant and radio controlled) to place castings at workstation and shipment area. Select appropriate heavy chains and hooks for casting size, shape, and weight. Assist in loading and unloading trucks, weigh in trucks as necessary, use scale and record data. Clean up workstation and surrounding work areas. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications, Skills & Abilities Reliable and consistent attendance. Ability to work independently. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physical, and industrial environment. Time management through performing multiple operations simultaneously. Ability to follow work instructions and desire to learn. Work Environment & Physical Demands Perform physical activities requiring use of arms and legs, including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials during your shift. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Comfortable wearing full hooded respiratory safety equipment. Stand and bend for long periods; bend, twist, crouch. Indoor and outdoor climate conditions during all seasons and varying temperatures. Job Type Full time, hourly, non‑exempt.
