Java ODM Developer

Overview In this contract role you will design, develop and deploy IBM ODM-based rule solutions within an agile team. You will work on building and maintaining rule apps, decision models and integrations with WebSphere to support enterprise processes. You’ll tackle rule authoring, testing and deployment challenges that impact business decisions. ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test and debug IBM ODM rules and rule appsDeploy Rule App and Rule Sets in the Rule Execution Server and configure ODM environmentsSet up and maintain IBM DSR/DSI installations and integration with ODM/WebSphereDevelop decision models (Decision Table/Tree, BRL, BMD) and related rule flowsWork with WebSphere, Web Services, and XML to integrate ODM with enterprise systemsAdopt test-driven development with JUnit and participate in a continuous integration workflowCollaborate with IT and business teams and provide on-call support as neededSupport the setup of Decision Center for business users Key requirementsDegree in Computer Science/Engineering5+ years IBM ODM 8.X, Java/J2EE, WebSphere Application Server, Web Services, XML, and databases (Oracle or other)5+ years experience in rule authoring and rule engine development or complex event processing (IBM DSR/DSI, JRules, iLog)Experience in design and development of Decision Table, Decision Tree, BRL, Rule Flows, BOM/XOM, Synthetic Class, Function Task, Rule Task, Decision warehouse in ODMExperience in building Business Model Definition (BMD) and processing events with diverse agents and aggregatesExperience installing and configuring IBM DSR/DSI, deploying Rule Apps, and setting up ODM with WebSphereExperience in test-driven development with JUnit and exposure to SOAStrong Oracle SQL/PL-SQL and relational database knowledgeAbility to work independently and in a team, with strong communication skillsExperience in CI environments and airline industry or ABRD methodology is a plusU.S. work authorization; contract role; visa status should be stated in applicationStrong oral and written communicationteam collaborationself-motivationIBM ODM 8.XJava/J2EEWebSphere Application Server
