Park Commission Member

The city has an opening for an interested individual to serve on the city's Park Commission. This Commission acts as the planning agency for the city parks and trail system.The Park Commission meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. Members are compensated at a rate of $40 per regular meeting. The staff liaison is the Public Works Manager. Meeting agendas and information packets are provided at least three days in advance of each meeting.Length of CommitmentThe length of a full term for the Park Commission is three years, with the possibility to serve additional terms. The current opening is to fill a vacancy for a term that will end on January 31, 2029.How to ApplyAll commission members must be East Bethel residents.To apply for a position on the Park Commission, please submit a letter expressing your interest in the position.
