Quality Manager

Primus Aerospace specializes in high-precision, high-complexity CNC machining and assembly for the Aerospace and Defense industry. Primus Aerospace is currently seeking a Quality Manager with at least 5 years of quality experience managing in a fast-paced contract manufacturing environment.Schedule is Monday - Friday 6am - 3:30pm.RequirementsKey Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Provide leadership and daily direction to quality inspectors and other personnel.Hire, develop, and evaluate quality department personnel.Assist and training inspectors to utilize proper inspection processes and techniques.Manage Quality Department personnel work schedules and overtime budget.Selection, calibration, and maintenance of measurement equipment including CMMs, gages, and other tools.Develop inspection and in process control plans for parts.Supporting production in part measurement, scrap reduction.Develop quality metrics and drive continuous improvement.Review contractsLead material review board activities and ensuring all non-compliant material is dispositioned.Perform internal audits according to ensure compliance to quality system.Review inspector metrics and perform inspector evaluations.Manage customer quality escape notifications, DMRs, complaints, RMAs, and corrective & preventive actions.Minimum QualificationsAS 9100 experience 3-5 years; mandatory5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment5 years of machining experience3-5 years of leadership, experience managing a team of 5-15 employeesDemonstrated experience using GD&T and a full range of measurement techniquesStrong analytical skills, including data analysis and visualizationWorking knowledge of ISO9001Knowledge of Lean manufacturingGood written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and problem-solving skills.Six Sigma certification preferred.Ability to obtain security clearance.Our Comprehensive Benefits IncludePTO10 paid holidaysMedical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability insurance401K plus company matchLong and short-term incentive plansBenefits start 1st of the month after the date of hireImportant NoticeTo adhere to U.S. Government international trade regulations, applicant must be a U.S. Citizen.At Primus Aerospace, we are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
