General/Kitchen Manager

*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our Central Kitchen culinary operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, kitchen management, and delivering exceptional hospitality services. *Responsibilities* - Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff activities - Manage food production processes to ensure high-quality dishes - Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies - Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adherence to safety standards - Train and develop kitchen staff on proper food safety techniques - Implement and uphold food service regulations and standards - Handle shift management duties effectively - Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process *Qualifications* - Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management - Proficiency in K-12 food service guidelines and kitchen-related software - Strong background in hospitality or kitchen management - Excellent leadership and communication skills - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of food service management principles Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.59 - $20.50 per hour Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Rotating shift Weekends as needed People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Experience: Kitchen management: 3 years (Required) License/Certification: Food Safety Certification (Required) Work Location: In person
