Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. This district-wide role spans all grade levels and is scheduled for three days per week during the 2026/2027 school year. You'll collaborate with dedicated staff, guide evaluations and re-evaluations, facilitate ARD meetings, and offer expertise on behavioral strategies to ensure student success.Key Qualifications:Valid State certification/licensure as a School PsychologistExperience with conducting initial and re-evaluations for students K-12Knowledge of ARD meeting procedures and special education complianceFamiliarity with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)Strong interpersonal and consultation skills for working closely with special education teamsAbility to communicate effectively with staff, students, and familiesCore Responsibilities:Conduct thorough psychoeducational assessments for initial and re-evaluations (16 initials, 11 re-evaluations completed this year)Participate in ARD meetings, providing insights and addressing testing outcomesCollaborate with Behavior Specialists and counselors, providing minimal counseling as neededConsult with SPED staff on behavior intervention strategies and support the development of FBAs and BIPsWork district-wide, supporting students and teams across all grade levels, K-12Offer guidance regarding best practices to support students' behavioral and academic needsThis is a rewarding chance to shape and support school-based mental health and academic achievement, with varied responsibilities and opportunities for professional growth.
