As an Armed Security Officer, you are an integral part of the broad spectrum of specialized security services Inter-Con provides its clients every day.Specific Benefits IncludeCompetitive PayRecognition and Reward Programs.Training and Career Development.Opportunities for Medical, dental, Holidays, vacation and sick, and 401 (k) retirement plan.Uniform and equipment providedAdditional benefits vary depending on position.Expected ResponsibilitiesMeets requirements of all subordinate security positionsEstablish relationship within customer organization and delivers high quality services to customer.Actively contribute to customer satisfactionAccountable for quality of all deliverablesPlans, organizes, directs and controls the security team for the assigned location during normal and emergency operations, including:Ensures that security staff are prepared for shift duties, including ensuring all posts are staffed for every shiftIdentifies improvements to delivery and execution of security servicesHandles all administrative reporting, including reviewing and signing all timesheets, maintaining shift incident reports and shift logs, submitting accurate data for payroll, etc.Develops staff in both technical and professional skills, including ongoing refresher training for all guards throughout calendar yearEvaluates effectiveness of security staff response, knowledge, and competencyResolves issues in a timely mannerDemonstrates ability to resolve conflicts through de-escalation techniquesDemonstrates ability to represent Supplier in the absence of the Site Security ManagerDemonstrates knowledge of practices in the security industryQualificationsQualifications: Speak, read, and write English.Possess a Guard Card issued by the Bureau of Security and Investigation ServicesMust be age 21 or older.Shall possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency.Be able to pass rigorous background screening.
