Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Shreveport, LA, for a Maintenance Mechanic. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for performing regular preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and minimizing downtime in a manufacturing environment. Daily responsibilities include inspecting and maintaining equipment, addressing corrective maintenance needs promptly, and collaborating with the operations team to support optimal plant performance. The role also involves documenting maintenance activities and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Qualifications Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance processesExperience with Corrective Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair activitiesStrong knowledge of Industrial Maintenance, including troubleshooting and repairAbility to safely operate tools and machinery required for maintenance tasksStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesMinimum high school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or training in mechanical systems are a plusPrevious experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly desirable
