Our customers include water and wastewater treatment systems, municipal and commercial swimming pools, industrial process and wastewater facilities, and industries like oil/gas and agricultural farmers/growers.Learn more about us at www.hawkinsinc.com (NASDAQ: HWKN).To learn more about Hawkins Water Treatment and the sales, delivery and warehouse positions, watch this short video.ABOUT THE JOBLoad and unload trucks to deliver products in a safe, timely and courteous manner.ResponsibilitiesProfessionally deliver products to internal and external customer sitesResponsible for knowing the equipment (forklift, hose, pump, etc.) and process operations ofhandling, storing, shipping and transporting hazardous materials compliant with DOTstandardsAccurately complete required documentation in paper form and/or on a computer, includingshipping and receiving paperwork, inventory sheets, inspection reports, etc.Provide routine minor maintenance and inspection of vehicles and equipmentMaintain housekeeping standardsApply all product quality and safety standards as well as report any product safety incidents tothe Supervisor, Manager, or designated back-up (applicable to positions working inaccordance with specific plant or company certifications).Communicate compliance, safety, and equipment needs as personally identifiedAbility to safely operate independently while adhering to all company Standard OperatingProcedure (SOP)s and Complying with all applicable Federal, State, and Corporate environmental, safety and healthregulationsPerform other miscellaneous related duties, as neededABOUT YOUHighschool diploma or equivalent1-3 years previous driving experience requiredCurrently holding a Class B CDL with ability to obtain tanker and HAZMAT endorsementsSatisfactory driving recordsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsBasic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office required; prior MRP or ERP experiencepreferredExperience in a manufacturing or chemical environment preferredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to lift up to 75 poundsMust be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing,walking, climbing, bending, pushing, reaching, and pullingAbility to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs and laddersAbility to wear PPE and equipment such as safety shoes, face shields, safety glasses, safetygoggles, hearing protection, gloves and a hard hat; chemical suits and a hair/beard net whenrequiredAbility to safely operate an industrial forklift when requiredWilling and able to adhere to all grooming requirements (for respirator use, SQF-certifiedenvironments, etc.)Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditionsWilling to work around chemicals and industrial machineryTRAVEL:Travel varies from 0% - 20%Expected Compensation: $26.00-28.00/hr. + 5% bonus eligibilityHawkins offers eligible employees and their dependents comprehensive benefits, which includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, LTD/STD and more.
