Team members join a stable, growth-oriented organization with a strong reputation in the steel fabrication industry.Role Description The Plant Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role based in Osceola, AR, responsible for overseeing daily plant operations in a structural steel fabrication environment. This role plans, organizes, and directs production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The Plant Superintendent supervises and develops frontline leaders and production teams, manages staffing and scheduling, and ensures effective communication across shifts and departments. This position monitors workflow, production metrics, and equipment performance, quickly addressing issues and implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. The role also collaborates closely with quality, maintenance, engineering, and safety teams to drive operational excellence and support customer requirements.Qualifications Strong Plant Management and Plant Operations experience, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating daily production activities.Demonstrated Operations Management skills with a focus on meeting safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.Proven Supervisory Skills, including coaching, performance management, team development, and conflict resolution.Hands-on Quality Control experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment, with the ability to enforce standards and support corrective actions.Prior leadership experience in steel fabrication, heavy manufacturing, or a related industrial setting preferred.Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or similar process improvement methodologies is a plus.Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with comfort working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.Proficiency with production systems, basic computer skills (e.g., MS Office, ERP/MRP systems), and data-driven performance management.High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in industrial management, engineering, operations, or a related field is preferred.Ability to work on-site in Osceola, AR, with flexibility for extended hours as needed to support plant operations.
