Responsibilities Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
Serve as an empathetic problem solver for customers by utilizing the in-depth training to recommend the best innovative overall pest solution for each customer’s needs.
Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads; we provide a robust advertising budget to support you.
Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain how Orkin’s products and services can protect them.
Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home and identify issues to address with customers.
Make recommendations based on inspection findings, address questions, explain the process, and set expectations.
Use the provided iPad to prepare sales agreements and stay organized; training is provided.

Qualifications What do you need to be successful?
High School Diploma or equivalent required
No Experience Required
Valid driver’s license required
Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid)
Ability to work in the field independently and interact with clients
Work Environment Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:
Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roofs, etc., including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator
Willing to work in different types of weather conditions
