We take pride in our commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and providing rewarding careers to our employees.Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Front End Loader Operator to join our team at the Hot Mix Asphalt Plant in Holly Ridge, LA. This position involves operating a Caterpillar 980/988 series loader to handle aggregate stockpiles, load bins, and support asphalt plant operations. The ideal candidate will have prior aggregate handling experience, strong attention to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced plant environment.Key Responsibilities Safely operate 980/988 series loaders to move, load, and manage aggregate materials.Maintain proper stockpile organization and material blending as directed.Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and minor routine maintenance.Assist with plant operations including material flow and loadout support.Work collaboratively with plant staff and supervisors to meet daily production goals.Adhere to all company safety policies and maintain a clean, safe work environment.Employee & Family Benefits Competitive hourly pay weekly pay with overtime opportunities.Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance available for employees and families.401K Plan with Employer Match.Disability and Life Insurance options available.Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience operating large front-end loaders (900+ series preferred).Prior aggregate handling experience strongly preferred.Strong knowledge of loader safety, stockpile management, and plant operations.Dependable attendance and ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and occasional nights.Must be safety-conscious and team-oriented.Applicant Requirements Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.Valid email address for communication.Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.Physically able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform tasks requiring climbing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.D&J Construction Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
