Mechanical Assembly Technician

The OpportunityPrecision Process is hiring a Mechanical Assembler to join our team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be involved in the mechanical fabrication, repair, modification, removal, and installation of various electroplating equipment. This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday from 7am – 3:30pm, reporting to the Assembly Supervisor.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesRead/interpret blueprints, sketches, part lists, and work orders to determine methods of fabrication/assemblyUse hand routers, table saws, plastic welding guns, plumbing tools, hand tools, and drill pressesTroubleshoot failures and perform repairsEnsure work environment is clean and safeEnsure quality of parts and assembly processAccurately complete documentationOther duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMinimum high school graduate or equivalentAbility to read, write, and understand verbal and written instructionsAbility to interpret blueprints (PID) for plumbing and pneumaticsUnderstanding of Geometric Dimensions/TolerancesAbility to travel approximately 10-15% of timeBasic math and computer skillsManual dexterity needed to perform some job functionsWorking ConditionsEnvironment may be high temperatures depending on ambient outside temperatureSteel/composite toe boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection requiredCould be exposed to background noise, odors, dust, heat, and coldWho We ArePrecision Process is a manufacturer of a variety of electroplating/chemical processing equipment.
