This position is in person and located in Fairfax, VA.Job DutiesAs a Personal Injury Paralegal, you'll play a key role in moving cases forward and supporting our attorneys from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:Communicating with clients, insurance companies, and other professionals Opening and closing cases in our case management system Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, demand letters, discovery, and correspondence Preparing demand packages for attorney review Organizing case filesReviewing medical records and bills for accuracy and coordinating follow-ups Filing pleadings with court clerks Conducting legal research and investigating case facts Supporting attorneys with case strategy and preparation This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines will make a real impact. Requirements:Knowledge & Basic Qualifications Should have at least 1 year of personal injury paralegal or law firm experience Associate's Degree or equivalent requiredParalegal certification preferredStrong organizational and time management skills—you're the person who keeps lists and ensures everything is moving forwardExcellent written and verbal communication—you're comfortable on the phone, whether making calls or answering them, and you speak up when something doesn't look rightHigh attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlinesComfortable with technology and learning new systems, including case management software to track case progress and report on statusStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsA kind and empathetic approach—our clients are often going through some of the hardest moments of their lives, and we aim to make things better, not worseBonus Qualifications if you're someone who:Takes initiative without being asked Appreciates continuous learning and improving Brings a positive attitude to the team every day Enjoys speaking with clientsHas experience with FilevineBenefits: 12 paid holidays, paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, FSA, EAP, 3% employer 401(k) contributions, profit sharing, employer paid life insurance, employer paid short and long term disability, $1500 annual professional development.Ready to Apply?
