Classification TitleProgram Director & Clinical AST/ASO/FULL ProfessorClassification Minimum RequirementsMD or Ph.D and/or Ph.D/MDJob DescriptionThe Brain Metastases Program Director will provide strategic leadership and oversight for the development, implementation, and growth of a multidisciplinary Brain Metastases Program within the Preston A. Wells Jr. Brain Tumor Center at the University of Florida. This role is responsible for advancing research initiatives and strengthening program infrastructure focused on metastatic brain tumors, while fostering collaboration across neurosurgery, radiation oncology, and medical oncology. This faculty role is on the multi-mission, non-tenure track.The Program Director will lead clinical program development, coordinate multidisciplinary clinics, oversee tumor boards, and guide protocol development to support innovative and evidence-based care. This position will also drive the expansion of clinical trials related to brain metastases, including investigator-initiated and translational research efforts.The role encompasses responsibilities in research, administrative and program leadership, clinical care, and teaching.
