Assistant Preschool Teacher

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. Duties - Create and implement engaging lesson plans that promote the intellectual and social development of preschool-aged children - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow - Utilize various teaching methods to ensure all students are engaged and learning effectively - Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed - Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs - Maintain a clean and organized classroom conducive to learning Qualifications - Previous experience working with preschool-aged children - Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices - Familiarity with behavior management techniques - Montessori or other relevant teaching certifications are a plus - Ability to work with children with diverse needs, including those with autism - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues - Passion for teaching and fostering a love of learning in young children - Experience working in a Daycare Center Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $17.76 - $18.45 per hour Expected hours: 16 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Paid time off Parental leave Professional development assistance Schedule: 4 hour shift 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Ability to Relocate: Chicago, IL 60623: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
