Material Handler Responsibilities: Receive, store and issue equipment, materials and supplies Manage inventory and operate forklifts to move products and materials safely and efficiently Requirements for Material Handler: Previous forklift experience High School Diploma or GED Valid forklift driver's license (or willingness to obtain one) Ability to read and follow simple instructions and safety procedures such as PPE Excellent organizational skills and ability to keep accurate stock records and update inventory Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Common sense problem-solving in routine situations Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to frequently lift / move up to 50 lbs; occasionally lift/move up to 100 lbs (team lift) Ability to work in a loud environment with extreme seasonal temperatures IND028 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
