RPA Developer (Automation Anywhere)

RPA Developer (Automation Anywhere) Apex Systems is looking for an experienced Automation Anywhere RPA Developer for one of our national clients. This role can sit remote and will work with our client supporting migration of bots from Automation Anywhere to Automation 360 Product. Our client is close to a new SAP Go-Live and needs to migrate and/or re-write several Bots that will be impacted by the new SAP product.Number of Openings: 2Location: 100% RemoteDuration: 6 Month+ ContractPosition Summary:Responsible for driving execution of all RPA automations across Retail Business Services.This includes the design, development, delivery, and support.Ensure that all departmental guidelines are followed.Support corporate initiatives and ensure yearly goals are met.Act as an RPA knowledge expert within the organization.Work across RBS and the Great Local Brands to drive and influence the adoption of RPA and other automation technologies.Duties and Responsibilities:Translate Automation Design Documents into technical specifications including but not limited to flowcharts and detail development plans.Create automations based on those technical specifications using a multitude of automation technologies.Develop automation support plans and participate in after hours on-call support.Ensure automation development projects progress as scheduled.Identify issues, risks and decisions while communicating to RPA Management in order to maintain department transparency.Requirements and additional knowledge:5-7+ Years of Development experience with 2+ years of RPA Development.Minimum of 1 year+ experience with RPA Automation Everywhere required, specifically with Versions 10 or 11. Bonus: any experience with Automation 360 Product by Automation Anywhere.Experience with one or more Object Oriented programming languages (Java, Python, PHP or C#).Experience with UI development languages such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, VueJS, Jquery or React.Intermediate Excel skills (ie. Macros, Advanced Formulas, etc.).Understanding of database design, a plus (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2).Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills - both oral and written.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.Ability to make recommendations based on interpretation of quantitative analysis.Ability to multitask and work under strict deadlines.Ability to prioritize and plan work to meet time-based deliverables.
