Data Analyst

Position PurposeThe Data Analyst is responsible for supporting business intelligence initiatives and analytical projects to drive data-driven decision making across the Firm. This role performs data collection, validation, analysis, and visualization to identify trends and provide actionable insights. The Data Analyst supports the Firm’s goals and values through professional communication, collaboration, and the delivery of accurate, high-quality analytical outputs. In-office/Hybrid candidates preferred.Essential Responsibilities and Duties:Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and other analytical tools.Perform exploratory and ad hoc analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.Collaborate with internal teams to understand data needs and assist in developing tools for data collection, organization, reconciliation, and reporting.Document data processes, methodologies, and analytical findings for both technical and non-technical audiences.Perform quality assurance procedures on datasets and reporting outputs to identify and resolve errors or inconsistencies.Support data governance efforts by following established standards for data integrity, security, and compliance.Assist with the continuous improvement of reporting processes and analytical methodologies.Stay current on emerging tools, trends, and best practices related to Power BI, Excel, and data analytics.Support leadership with data-driven insights to enhance operational and strategic decision-making.Maintain a regular work schedule of approximately 40 hours per week during standard business hours.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors, managers, directors, and partners.Other Responsibilities:The Data Analyst is expected to develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of relevant software systems, internal workflows, data structures, and reporting tools. This individual is responsible for ensuring accuracy, maintaining confidentiality of data, and complying with Firm policies related to ethics, independence, and quality control standards.The Data Analyst may also assist in process improvement initiatives, support cross-functional reporting needs, and contribute to the Firm’s overall data strategy and operational efficiency goals.QualificationsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Accounting, or related field required. Equivalent work experience may be considered.ExperienceMinimum of 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related analytical role. Familiarity with accounting principles, financial reporting, and analysis is preferred.Technical SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including dashboards, data modeling, and visualizationsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts, data tools)Experience with data cleaning and transformation techniquesFamiliarity with Python and SQL is a plusSkills & Abilities:Must Possess The Ability ToWork independently and collaboratively in a team environmentCommunicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to technical and non-technical audiencesAnalyze data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable insightsMaintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detailManage multiple priorities and adapt to changing deadlinesDemonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skillsExercise sound judgment and discretion with confidential informationTake initiative and continuously improve technical and analytical capabilitiesEffectively use a computer and standard office technologyWork extended hours as needed to meet business or project demandsAll information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
