Aquatics Instructors

JOB The position is responsible for teaching scheduled water aerobics classes or providing private and group swim lessons to people of all ages and abilities according to standards set by the Dallas Aquatic Center. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Education and Experience: Water Aerobics Instructor: Graduation from High School with any equivalent combination of education and experience necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the positionSwim Lesson Instructor: Knowledge of and ability to demonstrate skills in swim lesson instruction with a logical progression.Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to effectively enforce safety and health regulations relating to an aquatic program; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, participants, instructors and the general public; ability to communicate effectively orally and to give and understand oral instruction.
