Accounting Analyst

About the CompanyWe’re looking for a hands-on Accounting Analyst to support core finance operations and help strengthen reporting, controls, and process efficiency. This role plays a key part in managing day-to-day accounting activities, driving accurate financial reporting, and supporting business decisions through analysis and insights.About the RoleManage general ledger activity within SAP, including P&L and balance sheet oversight.ResponsibilitiesPerform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesOwn full-cycle Accounts Payable, including reporting, vendor payments, and aging analysisSupport month-end close (accruals, prepaids, reconciliations, and schedules)Analyze financial data, identify trends, and recommend improvementsMaintain and reconcile key accounts, including fixed assets and depreciation schedulesAssist with Accounts Receivable functions as needed (billing, cash application, collections)Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and properly approvedProcess recurring payments, including government programs (e.g., Medicaid)Monitor financial systems and ensure alignment between sub-ledgers and the GLHelp improve workflows through automation and process enhancementsDeliver timely reporting in line with the financial close calendarCompliance & ReportingSupport audits and maintain readiness across financial processesEnsure adherence to tax regulations and reporting requirementsAssist with multi-entity or multi-country reporting where applicableTrack tax deadlines and coordinate required filingsContribute to structured, scalable accounting processesPrepare and review financial statements and variance analysesQualificationsExperience in accounting or finance roles with exposure to full-cycle accountingStrong working knowledge of SAP (required) and Microsoft ExcelExperience with EDI systems is a plusSolid understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and analysisAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsEffective communicator with the ability to collaborate cross-functionallySelf-starter who can work independently and drive process improvements
