We're currently seeking a hands-on Area Director to oversee a 1,000+ unit, multi-property portfolio in Williston, ND.Please note, this position will require you to relocate to Williston, ND.This is a senior operations leadership role with real autonomy and visibility in a small, high-impact market. The right candidate will bring strong multi-site management experience, a proactive operating style, and the willingness to be on-site when issues arise, especially during high-pressure situations and winter weather events. Relocation support is available for qualified candidates.If you'd like to be considered, please submit a resume for review.ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day operations across a 1,000+ unit, multi-property multifamily portfolio in Williston, NDLead, coach, and hold property-level leaders accountable for occupancy, resident experience, and operational executionOwn portfolio financial performance including budgeting, variance awareness, and performance reportingRespond to property-level emergencies and operational issues with a hands-on, in-the-field leadership approachPartner with senior leadership on market strategy, staffing plans, and operational priorities across the regionQualificationst4+ years of multifamily property management experience, with multi-site oversight strongly preferredExperience overseeing 500+ units in aggregate (multi-property portfolio or a single large community)Proven ability to lead teams of 6+ direct and indirect reports across operations, leasing, and maintenanceStrong operational judgment and a proactive, solutions-first management styleBased in Williston, ND area or willing to relocate and operate within a reasonable commute radiusPerksTotal compensation range of $108,000 to $130,000 (base plus bonus potential), with base salary up to $110,000 and bonus potential up to 20% paid twice per yearRelocation package available (with a retention agreement)Housing support through an approximate 30% rent discount at local communitiesFull benefits package including all major insurance, 401k match, and PTOWork for a nationwide company that can offer growth and stability
