Directly helps to supervise team members, maintaining effective communication, delivering regular performance reports and carrying out all Relationship Advisor responsibilities. Demonstrates core values through active teamwork, personal accountability, enthusiasm for customer service, effective communication, and solution-focused mindset.Job LocationVarious Community Branch locations, as assignedEquipment, Machines, SoftwareAutomobile; Telephone; Laptop, PC; Printer, Copier; Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TeamsEssential DutiesAssists the Community Office Manager in meeting the financial services needs of customers in the assigned office's market area.Works with Community Office Manager to oversee growth, sales and profit objectives for the office, providing input to these objectives in a manner that ensures consistent business plan execution whereby performance will be measured and monitored.Ensures that the Community Office is properly staffed and that the staff is trained to meet customer service needs as well as sales objectives.Makes certain that all office operations are performed in accordance with established Bank policies and procedures, either directly or through appropriate supervisor, e.g., office balancing, control of vault cash, etc.Provides for the proper security, maintenance, and cleanliness of the office; supervises the opening and closing of the building and vault; makes necessary provisions for the securing and accounting of negotiable papers.Ensures that all sales and customer service reporting information is provided on a timely basis.Conducts regularly scheduled (at least monthly) sales and customer service meetings.Serves as an active member of the Community Office customer service team by performing all the duties of a Relationship Advisor and, as such, is held accountable for sales performance. (See Relationship Advisor Description.)Leads "internal" sales initiatives and provides support to retail banking associates for proactive customer engagement and calls to existing and prospective customers within the office's market area.In consultation with the Community Office Manager, ensures that specific sales and customer service goals for each sales representative are executed.Makes certain that all customer service personnel are adequately trained both with respect to product knowledge and selling techniques.Promote the usage and access to all customer platforms and interactions, adoption and penetration of corresponding delivery channels.Contribute to a positive working environment by developing trusting and cooperative relationships with customers and First United associates.Participates in community engagement & Finture outreach efforts for the retail banking function within the assigned office's market area.Adhere to First United Bank & Trust's culture and core values.Proactively engage the community and surrounding area through volunteerism with local nonprofits and other community-minded organizations.Communicate with stakeholders to ensure they are aware of status updates and any potential issues that may impact the customer experience.Perform other duties as assigned.Abide by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.Cooperate with, participate in, and support the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g., Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.Ancillary DutiesPerforms tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.Full Time Employment Benefits: Fulltime hourly-paid employees will be provided 12-days of Paid Time Off (PTO), that is accrued 1-day for each month worked. After the completion of 90-days of employment accrued PTO can be used for any purpose including being paid for absences or vacation time. At the end of the first year of employment, any unused PTO will be converted to the employee's sick time accrual. Sick time will begin accruing effective on the employees first year anniversary up to 120 days. At that point, PTO is no longer available; and any paid absence will be eligible under the sick, vacation, personal and family sick pay policy. After one year of service the employee is eligible for their annual vacation benefit.Salaried-paid employees are not eligible for PTO and accrue paid sick days at 1-day per month; and any vacation time that has been approved for the 1st year of employment.12 paid holidays, 2 Personal days, 2 Family Sick days, 2 Volunteer Days after completion of 90 days of employment.
