Occupational Health Nurse
Registered Nurse (RN) PositionMust be Registered Nurse (RN) in CA with 4 years of Nurse experience. BSN Degree in Nursing may be substituted for 4 years experience.Duties:Prepares reports and assists with development of medical procedures and/or protocols.Supports Corporate Health & Wellness Programs (blood drives, health fair and flu shots).Provides health education information; dispenses standard drugs and medicines such as aspirin and cold tablets.Refers contagious diseases or serious injuries to company or employee's physician and may assist company doctor.Administers required immunizations and vaccinations.Assists with OSHA required medical surveillance exams (audiometric, respiratory, vision and urine collection).Provides occupational health nursing services to employees who become ill or suffer injury.Performs case management for injuries and illnesses.Screens employees for return-to-work clearance collaborating with the leave of absence desk.Attends to subsequent dressings of injuries; maintains records of persons treated.Administers company policy in regard to Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace.
