We are seeking passionate and skilled Cooks to join our team and help us create wonderful culinary experiences.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook menu items according to Streets of New York recipes and quality standardsSet up and stock workstations with all necessary suppliesEnsure that all food is prepared in a timely mannerMaintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all health and safety regulationsAssist in food inventory management and report any shortages to the kitchen managerCollaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and timely serviceMaintain equipment and utensils, ensuring they are cleaned and properly storedFollow sanitation and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environmentAssist with menu item development and special promotions as neededSome heavy lifting required, such as a 50-lb bags of flour. Additionally, moving boxes of varying sizes and weights with meats, cheeses, vegetables, etc.Qualifications:Must have current Maricopa County Food Handler's CertificatePrevious experience as a line cook or in a similar roleKnowledge of cooking techniques, methods, and equipmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressureStrong attention to detail and a passion for foodExcellent communication and teamwork skillsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededMust be able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items if necessaryMust be authorized to work in the United States, will be submitted through E-VerifyWhat We Offer:The pay rate is $16-$20 per hour, depending on experienceSick pay for all employees plus medical, dental and vision insurance available to Full Time EmployeesEmployee discounts on food and beveragesClosed on major holidays
