The successful candidate will be instrumental in leading the end-to-end technical execution, from architecting and implementing secure, scalable smart contracts in Rust to managing a high-performing engineering team. This role demands a leader with a proven track record in a high-growth crypto or DeFi startup, particularly with hands-on experience in Solana and smart contracts. The CTO will be responsible for the robustness, scalability, and security of the protocol's infrastructure, and must have a deep understanding of on-chain economics, token models, and DeFi mechanisms.Key responsibilities for the CTO include overseeing technical design, audits, testing, and mainnet deployments, as well as enforcing best-in-class security practices. The role also involves cross-functional collaboration with product, design, and business development teams to achieve key milestones. The ideal candidate will have a history of success in shipping and scaling secure DeFi infrastructure, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.
