Rental Yard Coordinator

Rental Yard CoordinatorThe Yard Coordinator is responsible for the overall organization and movement on the yard. The Yard Coordinator will operate heavy equipment by loading and unloading new, used and customer equipment as they come into the yard. The position is also responsible for completing all receiving and transferring of attachments and completing the monthly inventory check of attachments on the yard.Primary Responsibilities:Load and unload machines and attachments from lowboy trailersLog all incoming & exiting trucks that come onto the yardLog all shipping & receiving of machines & attachments in tracking systemCheck in heavy rents and customer machineClean, fuel and perform pre/post inspections on machinesMaintain outside facilities to include organizing machines on the yard and cutting yard with mowerInventory equipment in yardAdditional Responsibilities:Forklift inspectionsMonthly monitor and recording of oil levels in tanksDelivery of parts to customers and other branch locationsParticipate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.Additional duties as assigned by manager.To be successful in this position you should have a mechanical aptitude, organized and the ability to operate different types of heavy equipment. You should have basic computer skills, a clean driving record and be safety conscious. The ability to multitask, problem solve and provide superior customer service are essential to this position as well.Education/Experience:High school or equivalentRequired Qualifications/Skills:Knowledge of how to operate heavy equipmentClean driving recordBasic computer skills (email, internet, basic data entry)Problem solving and multitaskingSafety consciousPreferred Qualifications/Skills:Experience organizing an equipment yardExperience operating multiple types of heavy equipmentValues:At Yancey Bros.
