Operations Research Analyst
Overview
In this role you will use modeling, simulation, and MBSE methods to support space operations and defense decision-making for DoD programs in the National Capital Region. You will own and QA modeling efforts, analyze large data sets, and clearly communicate results to senior decision-makers. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to translate complex space-system capabilities into actionable insights. This position offers impact through advancing space defense analytics within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

ResponsibilitiesBuild digital models of real-world systems using commercial and proprietary toolsDesign, build, and execute constructive simulations with DOE best practicesAnalyze and synthesize large data sets using diverse analytic frameworksPrepare presentations, reports, and deliverables to convey findingsBalance tasks across multiple projects and maintain regular communication with task leads
Key requirementsBachelor’s degree in relevant fieldAt least three years of professional experience in operations research, modeling and simulation, or MBSEProficiency in data analysis and visualization (Excel, Python, R, Tableau, or equivalent)Ability to apply structured analytic methodologies to complex problemsStrong written and verbal communication for technical presentationsActive or recent DoD security clearancestrong communication skillscollaborative/team-orientedability to work in fast-paced environmentmodeling and simulationMBSEdesign of experiments
