The organization values adaptability, continuous learning, teamwork, and a strong sense of purpose in advancing aerospace and defense technology.Key Responsibilities• Translate engineering technical drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) into digestible, detailed work instructions for manufacturing UAS components.• Drive manufacturing process improvements focused on factory flow optimization and reduced build time.• Work closely with QA/QC to deliver consistent, quality products to warfighters.• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation in compliance with ISO 9001/AS9100 standards.• Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability of new and existing products.• Identify and implement tooling, fixturing, and process solutions to support production scaling.• Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes for manufacturing non-conformances.Required Qualifications• 2 years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or defense industries.• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering technical drawings and BOMs.• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, cable drawings, mechanical part and assembly drawingsPreferred Qualifications• Experience in UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) manufacturing.• Experience working in an ISO 9001/AS9100 certified manufacturing facility.• Experience working on Department of War (DoW) contracts.• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.• Experience with Altium or Solidworks• Strong background in one or multiple of the following: composite manufacturing, machining, cable and pcb manufacturing, mechanical assembly• J-STD-001 soldering certifiedSkills & CompetenciesHighlight key abilities:Detail focused with the ability to manage large Bills of MaterialsCommunication skills and ability to train hands on manufacturing processesTeamwork and collaboration with production techniciansTime management with ability to balance multiple prioritiesBenefits• Paid Time Off (PTO)• 401k plan with company match• Medical insurance: voluntary health insurance program • Innovative projects: work in an international company that develops advanced technologies for the military sector and is actively growing in the global market.• Career opportunities: participation in internal competitions for new positions, working on various projects, and expanding your skills.• Competitive salary and a referral program for recommendations.Work EnvironmentIn officeMonday through Friday, 40 hours per week with core hours of 9 am to 3 pmUp to 10% travel needed to CONUS and OCONUS production facilities and suppliersApplication ProcessSubmit resume and cover letter: m.staub@skyeton.comWe will be reviewing applicants as we receive them.Equal Opportunity StatementSkyeton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
