Event Coordinator

Position SummaryEvent Coordinator are responsible for supporting the execution of events by ensuring a smooth, safe, and positive experience for guests, clients, and team members. This role includes setup, guest interaction, monitoring event areas, and breakdown activities. Event Staff represent the company’s brand and are expected to always maintain professionalism.Key ResponsibilitiesAssistwith event setup and breakdown (tables, chairs, signage, equipment, etc.) Greet and direct guests in a professional and friendly manner Monitor event areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and organization Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest inquiries Support crowd management andmaintainorderly flow of attendees Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and client guidelines Report issues, incidents, or safety concerns to the Event ManagerimmediatelyAssistwith vendor coordination as directed Perform other duties as assigned based on event needs Qualifications & RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred Previousexperience in events, hospitality, or customer service is a plus Strong communicationand interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to stand forlong periodsandlift upto 25–50lbsReliable transportation to event locations Work EnvironmentIndoor and outdoor event settings Exposure to varying weather conditions Moderate to high noise levels depending on event Physical RequirementsStanding and walking for extended periods Lifting, bending, and carrying equipment Ability to respond quickly in active environments CompensationHourly rate based on experience and location$18.00Overtime paidin accordance withapplicable state and federal laws Additional Notes (Optional – Customize Based On Your Company)Level 1Background checkrequiredUniform or dress code will be provided Training provided prior to first assignmentDepartment: Operations / EventsReports To: Event Manager / Operations ManagerEmployment Type: Part-Time / On-Call / Seasonal/ Temporay(as applicable)FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
