Position Summary UACL Logistics is seeking experienced CDL-A Owner Operator Drivers across the United States. As a contractor within our network, you will have access to a robust agent base, consistent freight opportunities, and top-tier operational support. Compensation & Contract Structure Van Division 67% of linehaul if renting a van trailer from UACL ( 8% trailer rental ) Option to move to 75% linehaul by switching from percentage-based trailer rental to a weekly flat trailer rental rate (coordinated with Operations) Flatbed Division 75% of linehaul Weekly flat rate trailer rental available if you do not have your own flatbed Actual pay-per-mile and weekly gross earnings vary based on customers, freight lanes, and driver preference (regional, OTR, dedicated, etc.). Sign-On Incentive $5,000 sign-on bonus paid to the truck What UACL Offers Build relationships with 300 freight agents nationwide 24/7 operations support 24/7 road service U-Save Driver Discount Program Hotel savings Cell phone plan discounts Fuel, maintenance, and retail perks Online orientation for fast onboarding Trailer rental programs (van & flatbed) Competitive insurance programs Plates program available Responsibilities & Contractor Expectations Operational Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate a commercial vehicle in accordance with DOT regulations Plan routes that minimize empty miles and maximize fuel efficiency Maintain regular communication with UACL agents for load alerts, dispatch needs, and scheduling Ensure freight is properly loaded/unloaded as needed Adhere to all safety protocols and compliance requirements Use UACL technology tools for load management, communication, and documentation Participate in optional training programs to enhance operational efficiency Customer Service Provide exceptional service at pickup and delivery locations Represent UACL with professionalism and clear communication Maintain strong working relationships with customers, agents, and operations staff Requirements Valid CDL-A Must own or lease a truck suitable for over-the-road operation Meet DOT and FMCSA qualifications Strong safety record Business-minded approach to managing your operation
