Machine Learning Data Scientist

Our client is a consulting firm focused on delivering IT support for civil and commercial agencies, and they are hiring a Machine Learning Data Scientist to join their team in Virginia. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing automatic detection systems to facilitate the company’s innovative and cost-effective solutions. Responsibilities: As a Machine Learning Data Scientist, you will develop automatic detection systems for critical events. Provide architectural guidance in areas such as annotation, training, deep learning, big data management, DevOps and high-performance computing. Optimize the ML-DevOps framework to enhance all aspects of the machine learning processing baseline. Facilitate the development and implementation of advanced algorithms for critical event detection. Collaborate across functional teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery. Skillset: At least five years of experience in machine learning or related fields. Master’s or PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or similar. Familiarity with CNNs (Convolutional Neural Networks) and ANNs (Artificial Neural Networks). Proven experience with machine learning applications, including computer vision and natural language processing. Proficient in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch and AWS. Strong understanding of machine learning libraries, algorithms and analytical methodologies. Proficient coding skills in multiple programming languages such as Java, C++, Python or Scala. Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL and MongoDB. Must currently possess or be able to obtain Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph Clearance Level. U.S. Citizenship required.
