Business Development Associate

What you will do As a Business Development Associate, you will join one of Klarna's Partner Success Teams and contribute to accelerating our multi-product business across the Dutch market. In this position, you will work closely with strategic merchant partners to identify growth opportunities, strengthen existing partnerships, and support new business development initiatives. You will collaborate cross-functionally with analytics, marketing, and delivery teams to deliver value-driven solutions and an outstanding partner experience. You will also help shape commercial strategies through data-driven insights, stakeholder management, and operational excellence in a fast-paced international environment. Who you are • 3-5 years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, account management, or a related commercial position • Experience within ad sales, media agencies, affiliate networks, or digital marketing environments • Experience managing and growing strategic client relationships in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across different seniority levels, including executive leadership • Comfortable working with data and translating insights into commercial opportunities and partner recommendations • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing business needs • Working proficiency and strong communication skills in verbal and written English and Dutch Awesome to have • Passion for technology, fintech, e-commerce, or payments industries • Experience with merchant onboarding processes and operational tools • Knowledge of performance marketing ecosystems and partner growth strategies • Experience collaborating with cross-functional commercial and marketing teams • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales enablement tools Please include a CV in English Curious to learn more about Klarna and what it's like to work here?
