Overview Our client, a leading organization in the entertainment industry, is seeking a Platform Owner to join their team. As a Platform Owner, you will be part of the Technology Department supporting the Studio Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strategic thinking, collaborative spirit, and technical expertise, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Details Job Title: Platform Owner Location: Burbank, CA (Hybrid option with Remote) Pay Range: $90 to $110 on hourly W2 Responsibilities Define and drive the strategic vision and roadmap for the Studio Economics platform, emphasizing modularity, scalability, and reuse across business domains and technical teams. Oversee the evolution of cloud-native platform architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and product needs. Partner with Cloud and Data Architects to establish infrastructure patterns that are secure, cost-effective, and scalable. Develop platform services such as APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools to streamline onboarding and reduce friction across teams. Champion operational excellence by establishing SLAs, automation standards, and monitoring baselines to support production-grade operations. Qualifications 8-10 years of experience in platform strategy, enterprise architecture, or technical product management within complex, multi-product environments. Deep technical proficiency in AWS-native architectures, including services such as Lambda, Step Functions, AppSync, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, and Cognito. Strong understanding of modular architecture principles, including service abstraction, API design, domain-driven design, and CI/CD integration patterns. Experience driving platform adoption and standardization, including observability tooling and operational metrics. Excellent collaboration skills with architects and engineers, and the ability to communicate complex strategies clearly to stakeholders.
