Transmission Project Manager – Contract
Hourly pay range $60–63. Full‑time, hybrid, 3 days/week in office. Must retain ability to walk on uneven terrain during site visits.
Desired background: Electric utility engineering experience may be considered in lieu of project‑management experience.
Responsibilities
Manage various transmission projects through lifecycle (engineering, procurement, construction), maintaining scope, schedule, and cost.
Lead project teams, with no direct supervisory responsibility.
Typically retained to manage multiple White or Green I projects per the Project Management Center of Excellence Project Profile Matrix.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of project‑management experience.
Graduation from a two‑year college or university.
Working knowledge of project‑management principles.
Proficiency in project‑management, decision making, critical thinking, problem solving, risk management, project leadership, and collaborative team membership.
Preferred Qualifications
Graduation from a four‑year college or university.
Utility technical certifications/training; PMI (PMP or CAPM) certification; CMII certificates; Professional Engineer license.
Proficiency in scheduling and cost controls.
Experience in the utility industry and knowledge of construction management.
Relationship network ranging from individual contributors to senior department leadership.
Employment Details
Contract position; directly employed by Bartech Staffing as a W2 employee while providing services to the client.
Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States and able to start immediately.
