Commerce Casino offers a comprehensive benefits package to include medical, dental, vision, life, flexible spending accounts, 401(k), vacation time, and much more!PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONSResponsible for preparing a variety of Asian food items in a timely manner.Knowledge and skills of preparing all items on the menu as well as daily specials.Must be able to produce quality food that appears appealing.Must maintain a "safety first" attitude.Makes sure all items are stocked and area is clean.Prepares only food items that are ordered through computer system.Uses a protective glove when slicing meats, fruits, vegetables, etc.Operates various kitchen equipment such as a meat slicer, deep fryer, electric mixer, stoves, ovens, etc.Performs all other work-related duties as assigned by the Sous Chef.QUALIFICATIONS Work Experience Required: 1-2 years cooking experience.Education: High school diploma or 1-2 years cook experience.Other Requirements: Knowledge of Safety & Sanitation guidelines as set forth in the individual job manuals. Must have a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments. Attendance and punctuality are an essential function of the position. A clean well-groomed professional appearance per company standards.SCHEDULED HOURS Commerce Casino operates 24 hours, 7 days a week. Schedules may vary depending on business needs.
