Executive Assistant / Business Operations Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated *Executive Assistant / Business Operations Associate* to work directly with a senior executive of a growing, multi-faceted company. This is *not a traditional personal assistant position* and is not primarily about managing a calendar, running errands, or simply following instructions. We are looking for someone who wants to *learn how a business operates from the inside*, work directly alongside an experienced business executive, and gradually take on increasing levels of responsibility. The right person will learn what we do, how we make decisions, how projects move forward, and how to anticipate what needs to happen next. The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for a recent business graduate or someone early in their career who wants significant exposure to the day-to-day operation and growth of a privately held business. You will work directly with an executive involved in many different areas of the company, including e-commerce, operations, product development, purchasing, logistics, real estate, financial analysis, new business opportunities, and strategic projects. No two days will necessarily look the same. Initially, you will assist with research, organization, communication, analysis, follow-up, and project coordination. As you learn the business and demonstrate your abilities, you will be expected to take ownership of increasingly important projects and responsibilities. What You'll Do Responsibilities may include: * Work directly with the executive on daily business priorities and projects * Learn the company's operations, products, systems, and business processes * Research products, competitors, vendors, properties, companies, and new opportunities * Prepare spreadsheets, reports, comparisons, and basic financial analyses * Assist with product development and new product launches * Communicate and follow up with vendors, employees, customers, and business partners * Coordinate projects across different departments * Track open projects and make sure deadlines and commitments aren't forgotten * Organize information and turn discussions into actionable next steps * Prepare for meetings and follow up on action items afterward * Help evaluate new ideas and business opportunities * Assist with purchasing, logistics, e-commerce, operations, and other business functions * Identify problems and help develop solutions * Take ownership of projects once you understand what needs to be accomplished * Help reduce the executive's daily workload by learning which tasks and decisions can be handled independently Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is *smart, ambitious, curious, organized, and eager to learn.* You don't need to know everything on your first day. In fact, we're specifically interested in someone who wants to learn. What matters is your ability to understand new concepts quickly, ask good questions, remember what you've learned, solve problems, and become increasingly independent. We want someone who eventually gets to the point where they can recognize what needs to be done *before being asked.* You should be comfortable saying: _"I'll figure it out."_ And then actually figuring it out. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field preferred * Recent graduates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply * Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills * Comfortable working with numbers and analyzing information * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Ability to research unfamiliar subjects and quickly understand them * Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously * Good judgment and discretion with confidential business information * Strong follow-through * Willingness to learn new software and systems * Entrepreneurial mindset and genuine interest in business This Position Is NOT This is not a position for someone who wants to simply receive a list of tasks every morning and check them off. It is also not primarily a personal-errand or administrative position. We are looking for someone who wants to understand *why* things are being done, learn how decisions are made, and eventually be capable of handling projects and responsibilities independently. Career Growth For the right person, this position has significant room to grow. As you learn the business and demonstrate your capabilities, you may become involved in larger projects, negotiations, acquisitions, product development, operations, financial analysis, real estate, and other areas of the organization. The goal is to develop someone who can become a *trusted business partner to the executive and an increasingly important part of the organization.* Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Health insurance * Retirement plan Work Location: In person
