Here, you'll find a workplace where positivity, support, and teamwork are always on the menu.Position Summary:The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately, ensuring a smooth flow of service and a high-quality dining experience. This position works closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to support the front-of-house operations.Key Responsibilities:Promptly deliver food and beverages to guests' tables as prepared by the kitchen.Ensure all items are presented properly, according to restaurant standards.Confirm food orders are complete and correct before leaving the kitchen.Assist in explaining dishes to guests if needed (e.g., ingredients, sides, temperature).Delivers food to the correct person at the correct table.Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen expo line and service areas.Support servers by refilling drinks, clearing dishes, and responding to guest needs when possible.Communicate effectively with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure efficient service.Assist in resetting tables and maintaining a clean dining area.Handle food with care, following all health and safety guidelines.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.Must be able to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
