Admissions SupervisorLOS ANGELES COUNTY FAIR ASSOCIATION - POMONA, CA 91768Salary Range $22.50 - $22.50 Hourly Position Type Part TimeOverviewThe Admissions Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Admissions Manager in overseeing the Admissions staff. This position will assist with training of all Admissions staff. This position will be accountable for aiding the Admissions Manager in enforcing all policies and procedures. The Admissions Supervisor will help ensure employees are friendly, approachable, and provide excellent customer service to Fair guests and to assure guests have a quality and enjoyable experience.DescriptionPRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWill assist the Admissions Manager with departments staffing plan and daily staffing schedules to support budgetary goals, including scheduling for all Admissions Gates, as well as executing onsite operating adjustments in response to the needs of guests and the operationSupervise the efficiency of all ticket sales and transaction processingWill assist with resolving computer issuesWill assist with Pre-Fair set upWill assist with the hiring of Admissions staffAssist the Admissions Manager with calculating the hourly attendance of guestsWill assist with the monitoring of time sheets and hours worked for the Admissions StaffOther duties as assignedQualificationsSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIESExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlinesMust be flexible, proactive, detail oriented, and motivatedMust have strong customer service skillsMust be able to deal professionally and effectively with all types of peoplePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOBRequires a valid California drivers license and a clean driving recordMust have reliable private transportationMust be able to drive a golf cartMust be able to work overtime, when askedMust be able to move around the grounds and lift a minimum of 25 lbs.Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of timeMust be able to operate a computer, type, and operate a calculatorMust be able to work a flexible work schedule, which may include days, nights, weekends, and holidaysMust be able to work in extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain
