HVAC Technician

**Job Overview** We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. As a vital member of our maintenance and repair crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC/R and have a keen eye for detail to diagnose and resolve issues promptly. **Duties** - Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems. - Inspect, diagnose, and repair or replace faulty components, such as compressors, coils, and motors. - Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. - Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration systems. - Build and fabricate custom components, such as ductwork, as needed. - Perform plumbing and other related tasks to ensure the system is functioning properly. - Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks, including filter cleaning and replacement. - Collaborate with other technicians and support staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices. - Document all work completed, including maintenance and repair records. **Skills** - Strong background in HVAC/R and mechanical knowledge. - Experience as a service technician with a focus on HVAC systems. - Proficiency in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. - Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems. - Ability to build and fabricate custom components. - Knowledge of plumbing and related tasks. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. - Effective communication and teamwork skills.
