Required Skills: Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology Proven expertise in outpatient clinical management, including new patient consults and follow-up care Ability to oversee treatment plans and coordinate care effectively Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and the care team Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple caseloads Knowledge of current guidelines and standards in hematology and oncology Nice to Have Skills: Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems Previous outpatient oncology or hematology practice experience Familiarity with research or clinical trial protocols Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Active medical license in the state Minimum of 2 years of outpatient hematology and oncology experience Commitment to continuous learning and professional development Other Requirements: Availability to work on-site 3-4 days per week, approximately two weeks per month No inpatient responsibilities, no call duties, and no APC supervision required Participation in the comprehensive medical benefits program and certification updates as needed Willingness to travel to Wausau for inpatient referrals when necessary This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional eager to contribute to a leading medical institution.
