Travel Consultant
Project OverviewThis project involves supporting a large-scale federal Travel & Expense (T&E) managed services platform designed to provide secure, scalable, and user-friendly travel management solutions for government agencies.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Concur Travel Consultant to support the design, configuration, implementation, testing, and maintenance of Concur Travel solutions within a federal environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Concur Travel & Expense implementations, federal travel regulations, and enterprise system integrations.The consultant will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, lead design workshops, support testing activities, and provide technical and functional expertise throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze, design, develop, and support business systems and applicationsLead design workshops and requirements gathering sessionsConfigure and support Concur Travel, Expense, and Request modulesSupport system integration, testing, defect management, and production support activitiesDevelop program specifications and detailed design documentationAssist with training, troubleshooting, implementation, and support activitiesProvide technical analysis and recommendations for system enhancements and upgradesRequired Skills & QualificationsIn-depth knowledge of Concur configuration, including travel booking and reportingStrong understanding of integrations between Concur Travel and other enterprise systemsIn-depth knowledge of Federal Travel Regulations (FTR)Certified in Concur Travel Implementation and Configuration3+ years of experience with Concur Travel & Expense and Request implementationsExperience supporting configuration, system testing, and integration testingStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to lead workshops and gather business requirements effectivelyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft WordPreferred SkillsExperience with E-Gov Travel Service (ETS) systemsExperience with federal travel reporting toolsAdditional InformationRemote opportunity; however, candidates local to Herndon, VA are expected onsite 4 days per weekNo travel or lodging reimbursement providedU.S. Citizenship is mandatoryCandidate must be eligible for MBI clearance
