As a leading provider of advanced linen and uniform service programs and solutions, Halifax Linen Service is seeking an experienced regional / territory sales professional with relevant sales experience in the textile industry for a Territory Sales Representative role in the Richmond VA market area. The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities in a geographic territory. Top performers will work independently from a home office to represent, target, and develop new customers for Halifax’s products and services in the food & beverage, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, and commercial services industries. Learn more at (www.halifaxlinen.com).Territory Sales Representative – Role RequirementsThe Territory Sales Representative role requires 5-7 years of proven territory sales experience and success in new business development in a B2B or contract-based sales environment. A Top Performer will focus on prospecting, qualifying, developing, and influencing key decision makers utilizing introductory calls, email, indirect (virtual) or direct meetings, and strategic social networking (IE: LinkedIn) to make introductions, develop relationships, and work to secure new customers through contractual agreements. The most critical component of success in this role is NEW sales revenue growth in a regional territory.Primary Responsibilities…This is a NEW business development role. Top performance requires a results-oriented, self-directed, competitive sales professional with a persistent, active, targeted approach to selling, and a strong foundation of sales-focused customer engagement activity to prospect, qualify, develop, and close new business opportunities. Top performers will consistently seek to build a pipeline of new prospects through introductory calls, video conferencing, email, social media, networking, referrals, and direct visits to introduce Halifax Linen Service and develop and close new business.This territory sales role requires strong focus on the following:● 80% - New Business Development – New Customer Development – Prospecting, qualifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with NEW customers to grow and saturate the territory.● 10% - Existing Customer – New Business Development – Mining current customers to network and develop new sales opportunities or to gain referrals for new business opportunities.● 10% - Administration – Tracking results, reporting, territory strategy, planning, proposals, and sales administration activities.
