In this role, you will oversee and manage landscaping operations, ensuring the highest standards of exterior maintenance for our facilities.Lead and supervise a team of landscaping technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring performanceDevelop and implement comprehensive landscaping plans and schedules for various facilitiesOperate and maintain a wide range of landscaping equipment and toolsManage irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality and water conservationIdentify and address plant health issues, implementing appropriate pest management strategiesConduct regular inspections of exterior areas to maintain quality standardsCoordinate with other facility services teams to ensure seamless operationsImplement and enforce safety protocols for all exterior landscaping activitiesManage inventory of landscaping supplies and equipmentProvide training and mentorship to team members on best practices in landscaping and exterior maintenanceCollaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferencesStay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative landscaping techniques Qualifications2+ years of experience in landscaping or facility services, with a proven track record in leadership rolesExtensive knowledge of landscaping techniques, plant care, and exterior maintenance practicesProficiency in operating and maintaining various landscaping equipment and toolsStrong understanding of irrigation systems and water managementExperience in pest management and plant health diagnosticsExcellent organizational and time management skillsProven ability to lead and motivate teams effectivelyStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailEffective communication skills, both verbal and writtenHigh school diploma or equivalent; relevant landscaping or horticulture certifications preferredValid driver's license and clean driving recordAbility to work in various weather conditions typical of Swainsboro, GA, and perform physical tasksKnowledge of safety regulations and best practices in landscaping operationsFamiliarity with local plant species and climate conditions in Swainsboro, GAUnderstanding of sustainable landscaping practicesBasic computer skills for scheduling and reporting
